Recycling English Advanced – Sentence Transformation Practice Test

The correct answer conveys a specific detail about the time that she pointed out, which is the fact that it was five o'clock. This option is precise and factual, presenting an exact time that indicates what she was communicating. In contexts that involve time references, stating a particular hour or moment can be significant for understanding the situation at hand, such as schedules or events.

In contrast, the other options offer broader or less definitive statements. One option mentions a difficult moment, but it does not provide any information about the time itself; this lacks the specificity required in the question. Another option talks about time just starting, which is vague and could refer to various contexts without linking to a defined hour. Lastly, indicating that it was time to leave suggests action but does not specify the actual time being referred to. Thus, while all answers touch on the theme of time, the choice that states it was five o'clock is the only one that delivers a clear, direct response to what she pointed out regarding the time.
